My letter
I prayed
I prayed for the torrent.
Damn still waters!
Pestilent, stagnant water!
But I was shown you
I was given the honor of responsibility
I was given you
So along the banks of the still water I sit
Practicing what dead men have taught me
Leaving their skeletons to unlock my own Analytics
My merriment now chores
My impetus, patience
My wanderlust forgiven
And now I am still, listening to the still waters
Watching you grow.
To you,
I have become the still waters I damned my entire life
And then I was shown you
A torrent within a soul
An unbridled spirit wrapped in the beauty of god
I do not know what to do
I am looking at a better version of myself
Seemingly unattainable
And I sit, listening to the water
I am bound to these still waters
and yet I get to look at you
Watching you dance through the roses
On wings of god’s grace
Making a moment in my bounded experience
Exciting and passionate
And I do wish that you come visit again
Even for a moment because of this moment
